For the past four years, Classic has worked closely with Rob Hagey Productions in putting on Street Scene. Each year, Classic works around the clock to place over 230 tents in the Gaslamp District the night before the weekend event. Throughout the event, on-call personnel respond to the request of dozens of vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. After an all night tear down effort, the ten city blocks were re-opened for the work week by 6am Monday morning.
After the final foursome putted out the 18th hole at Torrey Pines Golf Course, Classic toiled into the wee hours of the night to set up an elegant tented venue for the gourmet luncheon for 600 guest of the Concours D'Elegance. After the conclusion of judging the classic cars, our staff removed all the tenting tables, chairs, umbrellas and concession stands in time for the first golfers to tee off the next morning.
Classic worked with Festivities Catering for the grand opening of Sony Corporation's new Technology Center in Rancho Bernardo. The event was a massive, week-long extravaganza. Classic's moment of truth came during a 15 minute break in the program at which time all attendees left the 18,000 square foot air-conditioned tent so that a team of 40 could clear out 1,500 folding chairs and place tables, chairs and linens upon the guests' return for dinner. No sweat.
