Just before Thanksgiving, Classic Party Rentals, Culver City, Calif., the largest event rental company in the United States, announced the acquisition of the rental operations of Aztec Tents & Events, Torrance, Calif., one of the nation’s premiere tent rental companies. With this acquisition, Classic Party Rentals continues its growth in the event industry and greatly expands its tenting and structure capabilities. The company is now comprised of 12 divisions and generates combined annual revenues of more than $120 million. Classic Party Rentals facilitates a variety of high-profile events, including Hollywood awards shows and premieres, celebrity weddings, charity events and intimate private affairs. The company will assume Aztec Tents & Events’ diverse inventory of rental tents and structures, including more than six million sq. ft. of tent and structuring. The current Aztec team will continue to serve clients out of their offices in Torrance, Calif. Aztec will now be called Classic Tents. Aztec retains its manufacturing and sales division.
